Oil Pan - Lower: Installation

Late build vehicles

Apply a 3.4 mm (0.133 in) diameter bead of sealant 1.0 mm (0.039 in) outward of the chamfer on the lower oil pan sealing face.

All vehicles

NOTE: On early build vehicles, install a new gasket.

Install the lower oil pan and the 15 bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
Fill the engine with the correct engine oil for the climate. Refer to the Engine for additional oil and fill information.
