In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION TORQSHIFT .
    2. NOTE: Do not use magnetic screwdrivers or other magnetic tools around the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor and the crankshaft sensor pulse ring or damage to the components may occur.
  2. Remove the 10 bolts and the flexplate.
    • Discard the bolts.
