Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, BATTERY MOUNTING SYSTEM & BATTERY CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the connectors from the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM).
  3. Remove 2 nuts and the TCCM  .
    • To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
