- CARRY OUT the transmission fluid level and condition check. ADJUST transmission fluid to correct level. REFER to PRELIMINARY INSPECTION .

- PCM (gasoline engines), Transmission Control Module (TCM) (diesel engines), external vehicle harness, transmission internal harness or Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid
|
- CARRY OUT the Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) and Key ON Engine Running (KOER) self-test. For gasoline engines GO to PINPOINT TEST A . For diesel engines GO to PINPOINT TEST F . REPAIR as required. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the vehicle system for normal operation.
