Powertrain Control System
PCM (gasoline engines), Transmission Control Module (TCM) (diesel engines), external vehicle harness, transmission internal harness or Transmission Range (TR) sensor	CARRY OUT the Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) and Key ON Engine Running (KOER) self-test. For gasoline engines GO to PINPOINT TEST C . For diesel engines GO to PINPOINT TEST H . REPAIR as required. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the vehicle system for normal operation.
Selector Lever Cable System
Selector lever cable system - damaged, misaligned	INSPECT and repair as necessary. REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTERNAL CONTROLS .
Vehicle Starter
Starting system concerns	INSPECT and REPAIR as necessary. REFER to STARTING SYSTEM - GASOLINE ENGINES or STARTING SYSTEM - DIESEL ENGINE
Torque Converter
Flexplate - damaged	REPAIR as necessary.
Fluid Pump Assembly
Internal parts seized	SEPARATE the torque converter from the flexplate and retest. INSPECT for damage. REPAIR as necessary.
