Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube: Installation

    NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals prior to installing the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
  1. Using new O-ring seals, install the oil pump screen and pickup tube and 3 bolts.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  2. Install the oil pan baffle and 10 bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown in illustration.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

  3. Install the upper oil pan. For additional information, refer to OIL PAN - UPPER  in this service information.
