Hydraulic Lash Adjuster: Removal

    NOTE: The hydraulic lash adjusters can be removed with the cylinder heads installed on the engine.
  1. Remove the rocker arm assemblies. For additional information, refer to ROCKER ARM  in this service information.
  2. Using a magnetic telescopic pick-up tool, remove the hydraulic lash adjuster from the valve tappet assembly.
