Hydraulic Lash Adjuster: Installation

    NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the hydraulic lash adjuster prior to installation.
  1. Using a magnetic telescopic pick-up tool, install the hydraulic lash adjuster into the valve tappet assembly.
    • Verify that the hydraulic lash adjuster is properly installed.
  2. Install the rocker arm assemblies. For additional information, refer to ROCKER ARM  in this service information.
