Oil Pressure Regulator: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the oil pressure regulator plug, spring and valve from the oil pump.
    • Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
    • Inspect the oil pressure regulator components and bore for wear. Install new components as necessary.
