Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Ensure fuel pressure is relieved. On rear fuel tank, remove drain plug and remove fuel. On center fuel tank, remove rear fuel vapor plug and siphon fuel from tank.
- On all models, raise and support vehicle. Disconnect fuel tank filler pipe and vent hose. Place jack under fuel tank. Remove fuel tank straps. Partially lower tank. Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit and pump assembly connectors. Remove fuel tank. Remove retaining screws and fuel gauge sending unit and pump assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
