Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under instrument panel to right of steering column. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Follow manufacturer's instructions for scan tool being used. Scan tool will retrieve DTCs again after clearing. If any hard DTCs remain, they will be displayed, since they cannot be cleared from restraints control module.
