Symptom Checks

Check the following items:

• On Escort and Mustang, if cooling fan(s) do not operate at any speed, go to TEST X, step 40)  under SYSTEM TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V - CNG & GASOLINE article.
• On LS, if hydraulic cooling fan(s) do not operate at any speed, go to step TEST KH, step 1)  under SYSTEM TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V - CNG & GASOLINE article.
• On all other models, if cooling fan(s) do not operate at all speeds, go to TEST KF, step 25)  under SYSTEM TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V - CNG & GASOLINE article.
