Test V: Right Seat Belt PRETENSIONER Short To Battery (DTC B1882): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks right seat belt pretensioner circuit for shorts to battery by monitoring RCM harness connector C423, terminals No. 20 (Green-Orange wire) and No. 21 (Black-Red wire). If RCM detects short to battery on either terminal, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1882 in memory and flash Code 4 on AIR BAG warning light.
