Test U: Left Seat Belt PRETENSIONER Circuit Failure (DTC B1876): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks left seat belt pretensioner circuit for out of range resistance by monitoring RCM harness connector C423, terminals No. 11 (Green-Blue wire) and No. 12 (Black-Blue wire). If RCM detects high resistance on either terminal, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1876 in memory and flash Code 4 on AIR BAG warning light.
