Test O: Right Side Air Bag Circuit Open (DTC B1998): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks right side air bag module circuit for high resistance by monitoring connector C423, terminals No. 23 (Green-Red wire) and No. 24 (Black-Orange wire). If RCM detects high resistance, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1998 in memory and flash Code 6 on AIR BAG warning light.
