Test M: Left Side Air Bag Circuit Capacitance Out Of Range (DTC B2117): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks left side air bag module circuit resistance by monitoring connector C423, terminals No. 15 (Green-Black wire) and No. 16 (Black-Green wire). If RCM detects resistance that is out of range, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B2117 in memory and flash Code 5 on AIR BAG warning light.
