Test L: Left Side Air Bag Circuit Open (DTC B1994): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) checks left side air bag module circuit for high resistance by monitoring connector C423, terminals No. 15 (Green-Black wire) and No. 16 (Black-Green wire). If RCM detects high resistance, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1994 in memory and flash Code 5 on AIR BAG warning light.
