Test Ag: Left Seat Belt PRETENSIONER Circuit Short To Ground (DTC B1879): Description

Restraints Control Module (RCM) monitors resistance to ground at connector C423, terminals No. 11 (Green-Blue wire) and No. 12 (Black-Blue wire). If RCM detects resistance less than 1000 ohms, it will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1879 in memory and flash Code 4 on AIR BAG warning light.
