Water Pump - 2.0L Zetec-E (Zetec): Removal

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
Loosen the water pump pulley retaining bolts.

Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
Remove the water pump pulley.

Detach the water pump from the water pump housing.

Rotate the water pump 180° within the water pump housing and remove it.
- Discard the sealing ring
