Removal and Installation

Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. For additional information, refer to IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER -- FUNCTIONAL .
If equipped, twist the tilt wheel handle and remove it.

Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Separate and remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.

Remove the key release button.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Remove the spring.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
