Test P: Improper LH Turn Indicator Operation: Coupe
- Turn ignition on. Place turn signal switch in left turn position. If turn signal exterior lights operate properly, go to next step. If turn signal does not work properly, see EXTERIOR LIGHTS article.
- Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove LH turn indicator light bulb. Check continuity between terminals of bulb. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace LH turn indicator light bulb and retest system.
- Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector C252. See Figure . Disconnect indicator flasher. Measure resistance of Green/Black wire between indicator flasher connector terminal No. 5 and instrument cluster harness connector C252 terminal No. 7. See Figure . Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace indicator flasher. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Green/Black wire between instrument cluster connector and indicator flasher connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
