Test P: Air Bag Tone Warning Indicator Circuit Short To Battery Or Ignition (DTC B1891): Description

ECS module monitors its connection to Total Warning System (TWS) module at ECS module connector terminal No. 13 (Gray wire). This connection is used to signal a chime if air bag indicator is inoperative and another air bag system fault exists. If ECS detects a short battery or ignition voltage on connection to TWS module, it will store DTC B1891 in memory.
