Test Q: High Beam Indicator Is Inoperative
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn headlights ON and switch lights to high beam. If headlights on high beam operate properly, go to next step. If headlights on high beam do not operate properly, repair turn signals as necessary. See appropriate EXTERIOR LIGHTS article.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C220a. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn headlights ON and switch lights to high beam. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 4 (Light Green/Black wire) at instrument cluster harness connector C220a. If battery voltage exists, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. See PRINTED CIRCUIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in (Light Green/Black wire) and retest.
