Removal (CIII Pump)

  1. Remove the pump pulley. See POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY 
  2. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the power steering reservoir-to-pump hose. See Fig 1.
  3. Loosen the routing bracket attaching nut. See Fig 2.

  4. Loosen the fitting and disconnect the power steering pressure hose. See Fig 3.

  5. Remove the bolts and the power steering pump. See Fig 4.
  6. Connect power steering pressure hose fitting to pump. See HOSES .
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  8. Fill and leak check the system. See SYSTEM FILL  under LUBRICATION.
