Removal & Installation (CII Pump)

  1. Remove the drive belt. See DRIVE BELT .
  2. Disconnect coolant reservoir return hose. Block hose to prevent coolant loss. See Figure.
  3. Using the Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover (211-016), see Figure, remove the power steering pump pulley. See Figure.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Using the Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer (211-009), see Figure, install the power steering pump pulley. See Figure. The pulley must be installed within .010" (.25 mm) flush with the power steering pump shaft.
