Transaxle Overheating

Check for poor engine performance. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Check torque converter clutch operation. See TORQUE CONVERTOR ENGAGEMENT TEST  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Perform TEST B  , TEST C  and TEST F  under SYSTEM TESTS. Repair as necessary. Clear DTCs and perform TRANSAXLE DRIVE CYCLE TEST  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Repeat QUICK TEST  and ensure DTCs are not present.
