Non-Generic OBD-II Parameter Identification (PID)

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure test equipment is properly attached. Program NGS tester using the following steps:

• Select vehicle and engine selection menu.
• Select year, engine, model and any additional information requested by NGS tester.
• Select GENERIC OBD-II OPTIONS. Press CONT button if monitors are not complete.
• Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK.
• Select PCM - POWERTRAIN CTRL MODULE.
• Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES.
• Select PID DATA MONITOR AND RECORD.
• Turn ignition switch to ON position or start engine and allow to idle.
• Follow operating instructions from NGS tester menu.
• Select PIDs and press START.
