Electronic Pressure Control Solenoid

The Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) solenoid receives signal from the PCM to control line pressure and backout valve function. If EPC solenoid fails, transaxle will operate in fail-safe mode. Line pressure will go to maximum pressure. Harsh engagements and harsh upshifts and down shifts will result.
