Removal & Installation (Station Wagon)

Raise and support vehicle. Support lower control arm at normal riding height. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove bolt and nut retaining tension strut to lower control arm. Remove bolt and nut retaining tension strut to body bracket. Remove tension strut assembly.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW mounting bolts and nuts. With vehicle at normal riding height, tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check rear wheel alignment. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
