Removal & Installation (CII Pump)
- Remove the drive belt. See DRIVE BELT .
- Disconnect coolant reservoir bottle coolant return hose. Block hose to prevent coolant loss. See Fig 1.

- Loosen the fitting and disconnect the power steering pressure hose. See Fig 2.
- Disconnect the electrical connector. See Fig 3.

- Disconnect the power steering return line. See Fig 4.

- Using the Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover (211-016), see Fig 5, remove the power steering pump pulley. See Fig 6.

- Remove the power steering pump mounting bolts and the pump. See Fig 7.

- To install, reverse the removal procedure. Using the Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer (211-009), see Fig 5, install the power steering pump pulley. See Fig 8. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install a new seal on the power steering pressure hose fitting. See HOSES .
- Fill and leak check the system. See SYSTEM FILL under LUBRICATION.
