Test H: Driver-Side Seat Belt PRETENSIONER Short To Battery Or Ground (DTC B1878 Or B1879): Description

RCM checks driver-side seat belt pretensioner circuit for shorts to battery or ground by monitoring RCM harness connector C310B, terminals No. 15 (Light Green/Red wire) and No. 16 (Light Green/Black wire). If RCM detects short to battery or ground on either terminal, it will store DTC B1878 or B1879 in memory and flash Code 17 on AIR BAG warning light.
