Front Crash Sensor

The front air bag crash sensors (front crash sensor) is located on grille opening reinforcement behind grille. The front crash sensor monitors the severity of a frontal crash event. If the crash event is severe enough, the front crash sensor signals Restraints Control Module (RCM) to deploy air bag modules and seat belt pretensioners.
