Removal & Installation (LH)

CAUTION:
When removing the coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.
Remove 3 nuts and engine appearance cover (if equipped). Disconnect crankcase ventilation hose. Remove 3 left side coil-on-plugs. Disconnect electrical connector and radio ignition interference capacitor. Disconnect wire harness from front valve cover studs, set aside. Remove 10 bolts, valve cover and gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean gasket mating surfaces before installing NEW gasket. Install and tighten bolt in sequence to specification. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
