Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

NOTE:
On some models, IAT sensor is part of Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor assembly. If all 6 terminals of MAF sensor connector are being used, IAT sensor is integral to MAF sensor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
Sensor uses a 5-volt reference voltage during engine operation. To check IAT signal voltage, backprobe between signal terminal and ground with engine running. To check sensor resistance, disconnect sensor and measure resistance between sensor terminals. For specifications, see IAT SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS table.
