Seat Control Switch - With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR): Installation

  1. Position the seat control switch and install 2 screws.

  2. Connect the seat control switch electrical connector.

  3. NOTE: Bend the side shield slightly to make sure the shield is not scratched by the recliner lever.

  4. Position the side trim cover. Install the 3 trim cover screws.
    • The seat backrest pivot bolt shaft must be inserted into the cover standoff.
  5. Push the rearward lower corner of the side shield to engage the metal retaining clip.
  6. Position the lumbar adjuster control. Install the 2 mounting screws. Install the adjuster knob.

  7. Position the seat back recliner lever cover. Install the screw.

  8. Install the front seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, With Seat Integrated Restraints (SIR)  in this article.
