Removal And Installation

NOTE: New retaining bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. Studs and nuts can be reused.
  1. Remove the seat mounting retainer covers.
  2. From the bottom of the seat backrest, push the seat backrest upward, then pull the bottom outward and remove from vehicle.

  3. Position the seat cushions back, then remove and discard the bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  4. Remove and discard the bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  5. Remove and discard the bolt and remove the nut.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  6. Remove the nut.
    • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
    • Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
