Removal And Installation

NOTE:
New retaining bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. Studs and nuts can be reused.
- Remove the seat mounting retainer covers.
- From the bottom of the seat backrest, push the seat backrest upward, then pull the bottom outward and remove from vehicle.
- Position the seat cushions back, then remove and discard the bolts.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove and discard the bolt.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove and discard the bolt and remove the nut.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the nut.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
