    NOTE: When removing the bolts, make sure to retain the washers from behind the armrest swivel arms.
  1. Remove the 4 armrest bolts and remove the armrest assembly.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-ft).
  2. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and remove the insert panel.


  1. Using a suitable tool, pry to release the cable anchor, swivel the cable end and remove.
  2. Detach all the cable clips.
  3. Using a suitable tool, pry to release the other cable anchor, swivel the cable end and remove.
  4. Remove the bolts and remove the LH backrest latch.
    • To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the bolts and remove the center backrest latch.
    • To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
