Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Position a new TB gasket, the TB and tighten the 4 bolts in 2 stages:
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
    • Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
  2. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.
  3. Connect the electronic throttle control electrical connector.
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
  5. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
