Transmission Control (TC) Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Ford Pickup, 2007 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2007 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2007 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: On some models the indicator is located on the end of the transmission control selector lever and on other models it is located on the instrument panel.

The transmission control (TC) switch is a momentary contact switch that is located on the end of the transmission control selector lever.

Pushing the TC switch will either disengage or engage the TOW/HAUL function of the transmission. If TOW/HAUL is disengaged, the word OFF will illuminate on the indicator.
