Removal And Installation: Flywheel: Removal

- Prepare the vehicle for flywheel removal.

- Remove the clutch pressure plate and disc. For additional information, refer to Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate in this article.
- Remove the flywheel.
- Remove the bolts. Install the guide studs.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the reinforcing ring (6.0L) and the flywheel and ring gear assembly.
- Remove the guide studs.
