Normal Operation

For dimmable backlighting, a variable pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage is supplied to the illumination source(s) through circuit 19 (LB/RD).
For non-dimmable backlighting, with the ignition switch in the START or RUN position, voltage is supplied to the illumination sources from the accessory delay relay through circuit 54 (LG/YE).
Ground is supplied to the illumination source(s) through circuit 57 (BK).

- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Message center switch
- Parking aid switch
- Adjustable pedal switch
- Audio unit
- Four wheel drive (4WD) switch
- Floor shifter
- Digital versatile disc (DVD) player
- Roof opening panel control switch
- Door lock control switch(es)
- Traction control switch
