WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lincoln Mark LT and 2007 Ford Pickup. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Under normal operation, the front wiper motor receives open and ground inputs from the multi-function switch through circuits 1301 (YE), 1300 (PK), 680 (LB/OG) and 485 (PK/BK) to activate the wipers to the appropriate speeds.
Possible Causes
- Short to ground in circuits 680 (LB/OG), 1300 (PK), 485 (PK/BK) or 1301 (YE)
- Inoperative front wiper motor
- Inoperative multi-function switch
