Removal & Installation

  1. Clean around master cylinder cap, and remove. Remove fluid from reservoir until it is half full.
  2. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel.
  3. Remove caliper bolts. See Figure.
  4. Lift caliper off of anchor plate. Suitably support caliper.
  5. Remove pads. See Fig 1.
  6. Use wood block to protect pistons and boots, and compress pistons using "C" clamp.
  7. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill master cylinder.
