Removal & Installation

- Clean around master cylinder cap, and remove. Remove fluid from reservoir until it is half full.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel.
- Remove caliper bolts. See Figure.
- Lift caliper off of anchor plate. Suitably support caliper.
- Remove pads. See Fig 1.
- Use wood block to protect pistons and boots, and compress pistons using "C" clamp.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill master cylinder.
