Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) System

The electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) system maintains the selected vehicle interior temperature by heating and/or cooling the air.

The EATC system operation is determined by the settings on the HVAC module - EATC. The EATC system automatically maintains a selected temperature for vehicle interior comfort. The EATC system is composed of the HVAC module - EATC, blower motor speed control, airflow mode door actuator, air inlet mode door actuator, temperature blend door actuator, in-vehicle temperature sensor and solar radiation sensor to control the various functions.
