Automatic Transaxle

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Milan, 2006 Lincoln Zephyr, and 2006 Ford Fusion. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When the transaxle is placed in REVERSE, the SJB provides a ground for the reversing lamp relay coil (internal to the SJB). The reversing lamps receive voltage when the reversing lamp relay is energized. The reversing lamps are located within the rear lamp assemblies (Fusion), or the decklid (Milan and Zephyr).
