Possible Causes

An air bag indicator that is illuminated continuously or no communication with the RCM can be caused by:
- A DTC.
- Damaged wiring, terminals or connectors.
- Damaged ignition circuit.
- RCM disconnected from the vehicle harness.
- A loss of RCM ground.
- Loss of RCM battery feed.
- Instrument cluster module.
- RCM is faulted.
