Removal and Installation

- Remove the steering column. For additional information, see STEERING COLUMN .
- Place the steering column in a vise.
- Remove the screws and the electronic steering sensor (18B015).
- Remove the screws and the steering column release motor assemblies.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
Do not disconnect the steering column release motor harness electrical connectors from the steering column release motor assemblies (3D538).
