Removal and Installation

Remove the steering column. For additional information, see STEERING COLUMN .
Place the steering column in a vise.

Remove the screws and the electronic steering sensor (18B015).

NOTE: Do not disconnect the steering column release motor harness electrical connectors from the steering column release motor assemblies (3D538).

Remove the screws and the steering column release motor assemblies.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
