Power Steering Pump - 3.0L: Removal

- Remove four pushpins and the engine cover.
- Remove the air cleaner and the air cleaner outlet tube.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, see ACCESSORY DRIVE .
- Unclamp and disconnect the power steering reservoir-to-pump hose (36911) and drain the reservoir into a suitable container.
- Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, see JACKING & HOISTING .
- Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove two bolts, one pushpin and the shield.
- Remove two pushpins and the shield.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the power steering pressure hose (3A714).
- Remove the bolt.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the bolts and the pump (3A674).
