Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the affected seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT, WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR) .
  2. Remove the armrest.
    1. Release the armrest fabric from the pivot end of the armrest.
      2. NOTE: SIR seat has slide spacer on end of bolt.
    2. Remove the attachment bolt.
      • To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
    3. Pull the armrest from seat backrest.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
