Seat - Front, 20 Percent: Removal

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed.
  1. Remove the front seats. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT, WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR)  or SEAT - FRONT, BUCKET AND 40 PERCENT .
  2. Remove and discard the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor RH rear bolt.

  3. Remove the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor LH rear nut.

  4. Remove the seat.

    Installation 

  1. Position the seat.
  2. Position the safety belt anchor. Install the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor LH rear nut.
    • Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
      • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  3. Install the new 20 percent seat riser-to-floor RH rear bolt.
    • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  4. Install the front seats. For additional information, refer to SEAT - FRONT, WITH SEAT INTEGRATED RESTRAINTS (SIR)  or SEAT - FRONT, BUCKET AND 40 PERCENT .
  5. Make sure the safety belt and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
